Over two years at Mintify — first as a freelance hire, then as a full-time product designer — I owned the visual direction for all marketing and social media output. While product design remained my core focus, I created hundreds of high-fidelity marketing graphics for our social channels (primarily X/Twitter), with several campaigns going viral. From isometric product showcases to minimalist sci-fi backgrounds, I developed a cohesive visual language that became synonymous with the Mintify brand.

01. The Brief

Mintify needed a steady stream of premium marketing assets that could compete in the attention economy of crypto Twitter. Every graphic had to communicate product value in 1-2 seconds while maintaining brand consistency across feature announcements, partnership reveals, seasonal campaigns, and thought leadership content. The challenge: produce at startup velocity without sacrificing craft.

02. Developing the Visual Language

Out of hundreds of design explorations, the isometric cyberpunk aesthetic became my signature. Leaning into a minimalist sci-fi visual system — wireframe grids, isometric UI mockups, glowing accents on deep black backgrounds — I created a library of reusable elements that could be rapidly composed into new assets. This modular approach enabled high output without compromising on quality.

03. Key Visual Themes

Isometric Product Views: UI mockups rendered in 3D perspective with subtle depth and lighting. These transformed flat screenshots into dynamic visual statements, making complex product features instantly comprehensible and shareable.

Abstract Backgrounds: Wireframe geometries, orbital patterns, and grid systems that could anchor any message. Designed as a flexible toolkit — swap colors, adjust scale, layer with product shots — enabling rapid iteration without starting from scratch.

04. Campaign Execution

Major campaigns included Season 1 launch, multi-chain expansion announcements (Solana, Base, Bitcoin), token launch ($MINT), and feature releases like omni-chain payment aggregation. Each campaign required a hero graphic, supporting social assets, and often animated variants. I established templates and component libraries in Figma that enabled the team to maintain visual consistency even as we scaled output.

05. Mobile & Lifestyle Content

Beyond product UI, I created lifestyle photography compositions and mobile device mockups that showed the platform in context. These assets bridged the gap between technical capability and user benefit, making abstract blockchain concepts tangible and aspirational.

06. OOH & Conference Activations

The visual system extended beyond digital. I designed out-of-home advertising mockups for subway and billboard placements, plus conference booth graphics for major crypto events. Maintaining brand consistency across physical and digital touchpoints required careful attention to resolution, viewing distance, and environmental context.

07. Reflections

This engagement taught me that great marketing design isn't just about individual assets — it's about building systems that scale. By investing early in a modular visual language, I could maintain high craft standards while meeting aggressive content calendars. The isometric sci-fi aesthetic I developed became inseparable from Mintify's brand identity, proving that even in the fast-moving crypto space, distinctive visual design creates lasting competitive advantage.
